Speed monitoring - Kirk Sandall / Armthorpe

Earlier this week Officers carried out Speed checks in Kirk Sandall and Armthorpe.

On Tuesday 17th February Officers were on Sandall lane, Kirk Sandall where they checked 31 vehicles and found 3 to be travelling over the limit.

We are aware of the recent road closure on Church Balk and the diversions this has created. Further speed checks will be carried out across the area, taking into consideration the recent change in traffic flow.

Officers also carried out checks on Elm Road, Armthorpe where 14 vehicles were checked and 2 found to be over the limit.

Speeding vehicles continues to be a hot topic at our Community Engagement Meetings.
